Per Florida law If you were born after 1987 and plan to DRIVE the boat or jet ski you need the boaters safety certificate. Passengers do not need a boating safety certificate.
To get your temporary boaters safety certificate, follow this link to complete the online exam.
There are two options. $3 for one chance to pass with no study material or $9.99 to receive study guide and unlimited chances to pass. This must be completed prior to your rental day and the certificate must be with you on the equipment along with photo ID.
This rental exam is valid for 90 days.
